The Mill was brought in to create the visuals for this new spot, which includes a wall made from thousands of moving keyboard keys, each one generated by our expert CG team.

"Creating the visuals for this Kia spot was a fairly large task considering the number of shots we had and the time we had to complete them in." Says Sid Harrington-Odedra, the CG lead on the job. "One of the largest challenges with this project was the many elements that needed to be handled: environment replacement, motion graphics for the wall, generating all of the keyboard keys, environment reflections on the car and the enormous amount of 2D compositing required. These all added levels of complication but due to the efficient pipeline laid out at the start of the job, shots could be turned over and rendered within a couple of hours. This was extremely useful on the day of delivery, when we were able to make CG changes whilst doing the final colour grade."
