Dance for Decades
Airing a week ahead of the highly anticipated Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition - 'The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From Sidewalk to the Catwalk' at the Barbican - the London fashion scene have been celebrating the great work of the "enfant terrible" of French haute couture. Teaming up with The Mill alongside director Balthazar Klarwein, Dazed & Confused have paid homage themselves, with a film staring Jacob Mallinson Bird (aka Dinah Lux), Jonbenet Blonde, Tschan Andrews and Rodent DeCay. Titled 'Dance for Decades' this fashion short features some of Gaultier's signature pieces from the last decade.

Colourist at The Mill, Matt Osbourne comments, "I've always been inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier's vibrancy and use of gutsy colours in his designs. He is continually pushing boundaries and deconstructing conventions in his work. I have always had a fondness of the film '5th Element'; personally I think it was his iconic costumes that made the film so striking. As well as this, it was a real pleasure to work alongside director Bathazar Klarwein. Our choice to use such a vivid colour palette advocates what makes Jean Paul Gaultier a master of his craft."
