So it was great to have Crispin Porter & Bogusky cleverly resurrect this new instalment with extra twists and turns of 'Pardon me'.  

CP+B didn't just want another spoof ad and they definitely deliver with this new memorable and iconic spot, an extended remake of sorts with the original spot ending on a freeze frame of the jar as the mustard was passed from one luxury car to another. In the new two minute, mini epic the Grey Poupon is still 'borrowed' but this time we see the 'lost footage' and what happened next… The jar wasn't returned! And the two chauffeur-driven aristocratic English gentlemen begin to battle it out in a car chase complete with machine gun champagne corks, caviar car slicks and a golf club duel.

A teaser of the ad aired during the Oscars night and the extended version is now online alongside interviews with the actors, featuring 'haute spots', where viewers can click hidden spots on the video for a chance to win props from the TV ad such as caviar, champagne flutes and tokens made from the luxury cars.

He explains: "We degraded the footage to give it that real vintage look and make it feel authentically 80's, its great to work on a such cool and comical spot!"
