Black Hole
Stephen Hawking makes the perfect star of this Go Compare advert. Directed in straight faced comedy by Moxie Pictures' Big Red Button, The Mill's team was brought in make a black hole a reality.
"Many people have been tricked into thinking they are two separate adverts played back to back in an add break as they are so shocked Stephen agreed to do it " says Mill VFX producer Cat Scott.

"But he has a good sense of humour ( as we all saw in his cameo appearance on The Simpsons) and was keen to get involved! The black hole was concepted and created here at The Mill, with compositing done in both Flame and Nuke. Unfortunately there were no inside tips from Mr Hawking himself on how he felt the black hole would look, let's hope we hit his brief!"
