Martin Scorsese has been collaborating with and directing De Niro in films since 1973, many of them considered to be among the greatest films of all time. He shot this AmEx commercial in 35-mm and it was finished in HD. Most of the post production work at The Mill was to clean up and develop the transitions which overlay De Niro with the snapshots of New York. The Tribeca film festival footage also had to be tape-graded from digi to look like film.
This high profile commercial airs across most of the world, with BEAM.TV distributing all materials internationally and facilitating local adaptations through BeamSuite.
