Best known as a finalist on the TV show 'X-Factor,' Ella co-wrote 'Ghost' with OneRepublic lead singer Ryan Tedder. The video was shot in New Orleans, infusing the red-lit motel, eerie swamp and rural shack locations with a real sense of soul.

 

The Mill's Mikey Rossiter colored the music video, working closely with the creative team. For Charles Mehling, it was important to create a clear juxtaposition between the past and present scenes. The flashbacks were crafted to be drastic and almost dreamlike. The modern day scenes pushed color to the limit while still retaining the darkness and intensity of the flashbacks. For the final grade, Mikey kept each scene edgy and gave Ella a warm beautiful look.
 

The hotly anticipated 'Chapter One' album will be released in the fall of 2014.
