Stopping a snow plow short, she runs across the street into her yard carrying a palm tree, and slams it into the ground. By purchasing the DIRECTV NFL Sunday Ticket, she can watch her beloved Dolphins team, and look outside to see a familiar Florida sight.
The Mill 2D team, led by Daniel Morris, added in the snow, and scaled up the most powerful fan to make her feel larger than life, with the strength to tote an enormous tree around the neighborhood. The trunk, leaves and clouds of dirt were fully CG. When the trunk is shoved into the ground, the impact is felt through the carefully animated movement in the branches and leaves. Matte paintings in the background gave the scene a wintery feel.
The DIRECTV NFL feature, which lets fans watch their team no matter where they are, can help the homesick fan feel right at home. Along with a bit of creative decorating.
