Working with directing duo Blok, Mill Colourist Alex Gregory, helped bring the thought provoking and evocative narrative for Novelist’s ‘No Weapons’ promo to life.
In an attempt to highlight the current epidemic of knife and gun violence, ‘No Weapons’ follows a group of young Lewisham natives who have become embroiled in street turmoil. The film also provides an unfiltered look at the impact such incidents have on families and communities in the aftermath.
The film was graded by Mill Colourist, Alex Gregory who explains ‘The aim with the grade was to give the piece a moody and cinematic feel. We wanted to enhance the grittiness of the film as much as possible to further convey the seriousness of the subject matter. It was a pleasure to team up once again with the BLOK team on another seamless and worthwhile project.’
