A Sofa For Everyone
Working with Krow Communications and the talented Pedro Romhanyi, The Mill captures an impromptu game of musical chairs played with DFS's cozy sofas. This 40 second narrative is followed by sixteen more 20 second spots focusing on the comfortable couches themselves. In the end over 100 VFX shots were completed over 2 1/2 weeks in Smoke, Flame, Nuke and 3D - so there is in fact a sofa for everyone!

During the mammoth 6 day shoot a number of pillars were shot in-site with the rest built in 3D and tracked into the background. 2D Lead Artists Dan Adams and Richard Payne then composited the scenes and added the light effects to give the requested 'ethereal' effect. To achieve the overhead shot 6 5D cameras were strapped to a rig and then the resulting image was stitched together in Flame.
