Delta - Gateway to Football
For this year's world cup, Delta Airlines was named the official partner for Chelsea Football club. The elite Chelsea footballers Gary Cahill, Andre Schurrel, Ramires Santos Do Nascimento and Mikel John Obi mosey down the Delta jetway to their airplane, but walk right through to the football pitch, surrounded by cheering fans.

Shot inside Stamford Bridge football stadium, the entrance to the field was expertly dressed to look like a real airport jetway; The Mill took care of the rest. The grandiose scope of the stadium was enlarged, adding tiers and size. The screaming crowds were created by the CG team, down to the side-liners and security guards. The biggest challenge was to match The Mill created stadium to the live-action one, seamlessly blending the footballers and their adoring supporters.
Careful attention was paid to the flags waving throughout the stadium. Each one was built separately in the CG environment, amassing up to 1000 unique cultural and national flags.
'Gateway to Football' will be featured on all Delta flights during the 2014 World Cup.
