Mill 2D Artist Martin Karlsson led the job and created elements such as fire, amber and smoke in Nuke to compliment the already stunning cinematography..
Martin comments, "I got instantly hooked to the idea when I first saw the footage and talked to Saam about his take on it. The challenge to work with the elements of nature was for me very intriguing.
The extremely skilled match moving artists played a big part in this promo. The Nuke 3D system with the match moved cameras was then used to place the elements into the shots. Some shots needed a lot of love to actually work at all but everyone involved made a huge and impressive effort through the whole process so I'm really pleased with what we created together."
Saam Farahmand comments, "We owe alot to Martin's amazing team at The Mill studio. I think some of The Mill's most exciting work is going to be coming out of that studio very soon, and I hope I can be part of it."
