The video opens with Treadaway walking down a cobbled alleyway; he then stops, takes out his concertina and prepares himself to play. Straight away he is whisked off on a smoky, dreamy adventure through various locations and imaginations.
Employing a challenging number of locations, cast members and sumptuous styling - with Vivienne Westwood providing clothing throughout - this ambitious production (through Soho-based Saloon Films) is a visual feast - and the band themselves pop up as the extravagantly dressed pied pipers of the pleasure dome.
"This is a cinematic narrative-driven piece, which was developed conceptually to reflect the spirit of Crystal Fighters," explain Ben and Lewis, now signed to Stamp. "The film was a journey for everyone involved. The track was inspiring, as was the commitment of everyone involved in the making of the film. We somehow managed to pull off a huge scale shoot over just two days."
Beautifully graded by The Mill's Houmam Abdallah, he explains how he approached this intriguing mix of real life and dream: "It was important for me to produce a variety of moods in this video to compliment Ben and Lewis' work. I created a different look for each scene whilst making sure they connected together well. My vision was to help enhance the sense of journey and different worlds allowing for a cinematic mood that travels through fantasy and reality."
