This hard hitting short film follows three friends on a journey of friendship, love and regret. The film was created for Network Rail’s campaign about safety on the tracks ‘Always On. So Always Stay Off.’

 Mill Colourist, Tom Mangham states “The grade was challenging as there are two halves to the film which needed to contrast each other. Prior to the accident the grade is very soft, warm and filmic. However, after the accident the grade is very cold and real to reflect the anguish Eddy is going through. I worked alongside director Teddy Nygh and Director of Photography Bani Mendy to find a nice balance between the two looks and help gel them together”.

A variety of 2D techniques were used for removing rigging, cleaning unwanted objects in the frame and seamlessly compositing the effects to create the finished electric explosion.
