In this lighthearted spot, Lucozade sought to champion the underdog and prove that a little bit of energy can go a long way. The campaign sheds a modern day light on the biblical tale which sees David in the build up to taking on his gigantic opponent. 

David comes across worse for wear when he is reminded of his confrontation with the giant and lacks the strength and power he would need to defeat him. However, with a sip of Lucozade Energy, David its ready to take on Goliath, even without his spear.

Lead 2D Artist Ben Turner was on set to ensure all false perspective shots were captured with the upmost accuracy. The shots were then seamlessly composited by the team to create a convincing disparity between the small characters and Goliath.

The spot ends on a Lucozade branded stone carving which begins to crumble and erode rocky debris, this was created entirely in CG.
