A team of raven haired warriors are pictured in an abstract un-earthly environment which represents a human scalp as a city. The angular buildings symbolise dry broken hair shafts, on top of which sit angry sprites in billowing white gowns. The heroes and villains battle against each other amidst a hail of ice arrows and dusty flakes.

We worked closely with Floria Sigismondi in developing the gothic landscape she envisaged and created matte paintings for the wide angle shots over which the actors, shot on black and green screen, were composited. Floria said: "As budgets were limited, on set we were working in an unknown space. Working with The Mill in post, I was able to build the world I had imagined."
