The spot is a series of random acts of kindness, going from stranger to stranger, always illustrating the principles of the golden rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. From one stranger helping a mother carry her baby and stroller up a flight of stairs, to a woman dropping off books into a communal library, or fellow drivers helping an older man get his broken-down car out of the road — continuously helping one another.
Matt Darnell, Art Director says of the end card design “We used the beautiful picture Eliot and Mattias shot for the piece as a springboard for the creation of the mnemonic. The footage was black and white, quite cinematic and elegant - so we wanted the mood of the graphics package to blend in with that, and not distract. We achieved this by incorporating subtle lighting and particle effects, keeping the animation elegant, and giving the branding a bit of regal gold, a treatment worthy of Marriott and The Golden Rule.”
A little kindness goes a long way, no matter where you are traveling to.
