The aim from the start was to ensure each dog had its own definitive and cute characteristics. Dogs communicate via their expressive eyes and wagging tails, so particular attention was paid to these attributes to ensure they were fully articulated.

The rich digital world that surrounds these fury friends was filled with texture and vibrant colours in order to give the film a friendly warmth.

Director Michael Schaeffer adds: "Working with our talented compositing, design and lighting team, we were able to get to a place where the dogs felt like they genuinely fit in their environment. We developed a unique process across the team, that varied quite a bit from shot to shot. In the end, I’m proud and delighted with where we ended up: a fun and cheerful spot with a striking and distinct look.”
