The much-anticipated spot features the "original party animal" from the 1980's- making his comeback as a ghost.
The Mill's 2D VFX Creative Director Corey Brown adds: "The biggest challenge we faced was the very tight schedule, and we went through a lot of preparation leading up to production, developing a look for a our ghost Spuds, and a methodology for capturing exactly what we needed, without imposing any restrictions of the free-flowing shooting style of capturing great comedic acting.
We gathered a great team of artists who each added a little bit of their own magic to each shot, filtering into our “ghost look”. We knew it was important to have as much flexibility as possible even on the day of delivery, so we planned very carefully for this, spending a lot of time pre-preparing assets and streamlining the process so that the final composites were actually very simple, fast to manipulate and consistent."
Cheers to an old friend!
