The latest installment of BT Mobile’s ‘behind the scenes’ ad campaign features Emmy and Golden Globe winning Actor Alec Baldwin. Well known for his dramatic delivery of lines, the tongue-in-cheek spot places Alec in everyday British settings speaking in a dramatic way about very ordinary things. The ad looks to playfully showcase that BT Mobile 4G & Wi-fi is as good as Alec Baldwin’s 'Dramatic Delivery’.

Shoot Supervisor, Jonathan Westley comments; "It was shot over 2 days around Ealing and Ripley. What was bizarre was to see a Hollywood A-lister walking around a quiet Surrey village on a Saturday morning chatting to the locals and filming in unglamorous locations – the 'making friends on Facebook' scene was shot with Alec stood next to the village recycling bins. It’s this juxtaposition which adds to the humour of the spot and which Jeff captures so well."

Lead 2D Artist Joseph Tang comments; "We worked on cleanup, combining plates and adding matte paintings to help create and augment the comedic situations that make up this light hearted spot. For example where we see Alec Baldwin stood in the middle of the field, we used various takes to include more sheep and added a matte painted background to heighten the feeling of him being lost in the wilderness.”
