Shot across multiple locations in Los Angeles and Washington DC, The Mill collaborated with Wieden+Kennedy NY on animation, compositing and crowd work to complete the lighthearted parody.
The Mill’s Chris Kiser, EP and Line Producer on the project, explains how the team resolved unanticipated technical challenges on-the-fly: “As it turned out, the logistics of filming at a national monument grew increasingly problematic for what we needed, and many of the questions regarding camera placement and composition would not be answered until principal photography had wrapped.This led us to make specific creative decisions that framed our technical approach, and would allow us to film the scenes out of the preferred order without compromising the look of the final composite.”
