The ad focuses on the power of the internet as a mode for learning and exploration. It depicts a young girl who is engrossed and inspired as she delves into the lives of incredible female role models, including Steph Houghton, Nadia Comaneci, Emmeline Pankhurst and Paloma Faith.

Producer Carl Phillips comments, “We had to work with archival material of varying quality and age and had to find a way to match body-double footage for each of these women, so that our new material matched up with the old.

A further challenge was working on degrading the material itself so that we could replicate the old video style of the archive footage. Numerous methods were tested on this and we ended up using a combination of effects in Flame and traditional tape play outs to VHS. Overall it was a pleasure to work with Ed Morris and BBH on this amazing campaign."
