An impostor is exposed in Wieden+Kennedy's latest campaign for KFC, this time featuring ‘The Real Colonel Sanders’. The Mill worked with the agency and Director Ulf Johansson of Smith and Jones to promote the brand's Fill Up Meal in a quirky turn of events for The Colonel.

The Fill Up Meal campaign begins by setting the record straight: the man in KFC's 75th Anniversary Campaign simply isn't the real deal. With a confident shrug, the true Colonel Sanders demonstrates the only way to sell chicken the right way.
The Mill's Dave Ludlam graded both campaigns, each with a different look. In the previous campaign Colonel Sanders was dropped into a modern world, bringing with him a warm, vintage overlay, whereas Dave increased the contrast of the overall colour in 'The Real Colonel Sanders' by engaging red hues within a richer colour palette.
