Taken from the album of the same name which will be released on February 8th, 'Soldier of Love' marks the singer's first record in almost ten years. The promo opens with Sade wearing black snakeskin whilst fiery coloured red smoke billows around her. Mysterious black silhouetted figures then begin to move in formation against the ever changing background that lapses from a stormy sky to swirling clouds. She later emerges as a sequined, rodeo-esque heroine riding a white stallion against the desert-like backdrop.

Aubrey explains how he weaved his colour magic on the vid: "We wanted to give the promo an element of darkness or moodiness so kept it low contrast avoiding the brightness generally associated with a pop videos of this style. I opted for retaining richness in the colour as this was an important element in complimenting the mood."
