Shot inside a photo booth, this single celebrates the 10th anniversary of The Kills, and nostalgia is a theme that runs throughout. Nostalgia for old photo booths and the times spent in them; nostalgia for their stylised black and white prints; nostalgia in the lyrics of an ending relationship… and all wrapped up in Alison's Mosshart alluringly voice and haunting piano music.
The video was directed by actress-director Samantha Morton and produced by Juliette Larthe through PRETTYBIRDUK, and 'moving images' seems like a good way to describe her vision - both literally and in the emotional sense.
