Devised by award-winning digital marketing company TVF (The Viral Factory), the viral was cannily directed by Ben Wheatley and Jake Lunt to tantalize young technos by filming the cool anticipation of a young man un-boxing his new i900 and checking out its capabilities. Pressing a red button on its box releases a miniature marching band with a prancing horse, dancing girls and a finale of fireworks. Sweeping them aside he takes up … the phone.

Performing artists were filmed in a large sound studio beside another set assembled as a young man's room. Images were composited by a Mill team led by Flame artist Ant Walsham. "It was really refreshing to work on the viral," said Ant, "where the normal rules of advertising don't apply … we could have fun. I particularly liked adding the hand-held camera moves and zooms, which really kept it alive. I think that's why so many of the comments on YouTube ask, 'Is it for real?'"
