Not missing a trick, we completed a total of 82 separate VFX shots consisting of CG characters, Set design, Matte paintings, Motion Graphics, 2D effects, 3D and 2D composting and mostly notably all in Nuke.
Our 3D Lead, Rob Van den Bragt explains, "The multitude of characters, inferno like pyrotechnics, daredevil stunts, kung fu choreography, robot, horse and many edit versions made for an action packed shoot. The Mill needed to ensure we optimised our planning to fit around the shoot's tight schedule. Every scene had different requirements and we needed to ensure the illusion of a much bigger space, as well as the feel of all shots was consistent."
Producer Luke Colson, "We were over the moon when PokerStars agreed to assign The Mill to look after all things Post and VFX, but this sort of project is an added bonus! They are creating fantastic spots, with amazing directors, and the ambition is ever growing with what is achievable. The proof is right here in this spot".
