A tribute to the ladies..
'Marilyn Monroe' is the latest release from the man with the world's most famous hat - Pharrell Williams.
Directed by Luis Cervero of Colonel Blimp, 'Marilyn Monroe' is the opening track to Pharrell's new album 'G I R L'. It's a love letter to women throughout history - including Pharrell's wife Helen Lasichanh and Kelly Osborne who stop in to say hi.
Greg Reese, The Mill's colorist, explains: "It's a playful music video that involves a bunch of varied locations. This allowed us to set several different looks and moods throughout. We referenced late circa 1960's French Cinema, used strong rich primary colors in the choreography sequence and finished the video with a lighter, warmer feel in the end party sequence."
Greg's favorite part? "It was a pretty big deal working with the hat. I've been a big fan since the Grammys."
