The Mill collaborates with director Alex Southam of Agile Films to create this wonderfully artistic video for Mika's new single 'Underwater'.
This beautiful promo consists of a wooden boat, a silk sea, a dark and enchanting sky and Mika, as a lone sailor.

"The project was a really interesting one for our team" says Mill VFX producer Luis Martin "we used matte painting to create 3 epic skies and around 100 green screen shots to achieve the effect of Mika alone beneath this sky at sea".
Chris Scott, The Mill's lead flame artist on the project, says "It was great working with Alex on this project. We had a lot of fun creating an artistic environment in keeping with the initial painting look and feel that Alex was after. Can Y. Sanalan, aka Yigit, our matte painter, produced some amazing work and these were a real joy to being to life using both flame-generated and live action elements."
The result is a beautiful sea odyssey.
