A few years back, acclaimed Director Tom Kuntz lent his skills to MGMT's 'Congratulations' which sparked the curiosity of audiences and fans all over the world. Kuntz has partnered with MGMT again, this time for 'You're Life Is A Lie', which marks the second single from the forthcoming, self-titled album MGMT, set for release September 17.

The promo illustrates the unique lyrics to MGMT's tune, in which Kuntz crams a ton of unique and thought-provoking ideas into two minutes, making it one of the year's most interesting videos.
Jordan Sharon, who produced the project for The Mill says, "Anything Tom directs is really refreshing to be a part of. It's the perfect mix of confusion, with just the right amount of cowbell."
The Mill 2D lead Tara Demarco says, "Our job at The Mill was to help with the visual clarity of elements within the story. We created realistic hands to support the lyrics "count your friends on your hands" segment, and created a piano scene with skeletons for the "barely alive" sequence. The vignettes in this promo are completely engaging every time I watch it."
