Offering Mill artists a chance to get creative outside of their normal day-to-day endeavors, Senior CG Artist Paul Liaw recently launched a new Life Drawing and Sculpting initiative at The Mill’s New York studio.
Hosted weekly, the sessions offer artists of all abilities the chance to take it back to basics in an analog setting.
“Drawing and sculpting are the basis of all artistic ability” comments Liaw, “It’s always important to work on the foundations of your craft, enabling you to continue improving in your given specialty.”
Each week the sessions alternate between sketching or clay sculpting, from a live model.
Here are some of the session’s recent highlights:
Stay tuned as later this year, concept scultping sessions will be available.
